I was born in Peru. I studied Business Administration and worked as a Personal Banking Executive  for several banks  from 1982 to 1999.

I began my Flamenco dance studies at age 22, and decided to became a full time Flamenco dancer at the age of 30. In 1992 I traveled to Spain to participate in intensive workshops at Centro Andaluz del Flamenco "CAF". In 1996 I started my own Flamenco Dance school until 2007.

In the early 2000's I started performing Belly Dance, and also incorporated these classes as a part of my dance school. I participated in Belly Dance workshops between 2003 and 2004 in Argentina.

From 2004 to 2007 I produced Flamenco Dance Festivals in cooperation with the Cultural Center of Catholic University of Peru and as a Belly Dance Teacher for the Club Union Arabe Palestino.

During my career as a Flamenco and Belly Dance artist, I was exposed to diverse dance disciplines, and several types of music like Afro-Peruvian, Jazz, Criollo, Spanish Classical, and Contemporary dance.

Because of my versatile interpretation of music, several Theater and Contemporary companies called me to work with them. I was also called and worked with the National Symphony Orchestra.

In June  2007 I moved to Virginia. I continued performing and taking intensive flamenco workshops with renowned flamenco artists who came from Spain to performed in U.S.I increased my dancing skills by traveling to Spain in 2010 for an intensive workshop at the reputable Amor de Dios Flamenco dance School.

I performed in shows in Washington D.C., Virginia, Maryland and New York from 2007 to 2015. I also volunteered on a regular basis at the John F. Kennedy for the Performing Arts from 2009 to 2014.

In 2015, I was hired as a Hostess - Receptionist for The Jefferson Boutique Hotel in D.C.

Due to unexpected family medical challenges in 2015, I took a four-year sabbatical from my career to take care of my family. I made many decisions and choices during this time. One of them was to move to Florida in 2017.

In Florida, I certified as a Group Fitness Instructor from the  Athletics and Fitness Association of America. These studies increased my professional growth with a better health and wellness perspective thus adding to my experience as an artist and dance instructor for a holistic approach.
